Our schools and board use the SchoolMessenger system to communicate with parents and guardians by email, telephone, and SMS text messaging.
By opting-in to receive text messages from your school and the board, it will allow us to deliver important information about school closings, safety alerts and more straight to your mobile phone.
OPT-IN anytime by sending a text message of "Y" for "Yes" to our school's short code number. For CANADA-BASED numbers: 978338. You will know you are registered if you receive the following reply message: You're registered 4 SchoolMessenger. Txt STOP to quit, HELP for help. Std. msg/data rates may apply.
OPT-OUT anytime by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop”, or texting "Stop" to 978338
If you are uncertain as to whether or not you opted in successfully, simply repeat the opt-in process above. There is no harm in sending the opt-in message more than once.
If you have any issues in opting-in, it most likely means that your child’s school does not have your wireless number(s) in our student information system. Please contact your child’s school to provide them with your information and they will update their records:
