Each school year, the Kenora Catholic District School Board has several professional development (PD) days during which staff participate in professional learning areas in support of student learning, and achievement, health and safety, equity and student-wellbeing.
On these dates, students remain at home, and school remain open for staff to engage in learning and professional development as a school team.
The Board Professional Development Plan adheres to
Regulation 304, School Year Calendar, Professional Development Days, and provides a detailed summary of the Professional Development activities for the 2023 - 2024 School Year.
Descriptions will be updated at least 14 days in advance of each Professional Development Day or as changes occur.
